Wedding Dress Cleaning Disclaimer

At Love Me Do Brides, every gown entrusted to us is handled with the utmost care and respect. Wedding dresses are delicate, highly constructed garments made using fine fabrics, specialist stitching and intricate embellishments. While we work with experienced professional cleaning specialists, clients should be aware of the following:

• Cleaning outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Certain stains — including makeup, fake tan, red wine, grass, mud, perspiration and sugar-based spills — may be permanent or may reappear over time due to natural oxidation.
• Some marks, fabric stress or dye changes may only become visible after the cleaning process.
• The age of the gown, prior alterations, storage conditions and fabric composition may affect the final result.
• Delicate materials such as lace, silk, chiffon, tulle, crepe and layered constructions may respond differently to professional cleaning treatments.
• Beading, sequins, glitter, crystals, appliqué and other decorative embellishments are typically secured by hand or specialist stitching. Due to the delicate nature of these finishes, there is an inherent risk that they may loosen, fade, dull, lighten or detach during the cleaning process. This is not deemed to be damage caused by cleaning, but a natural and unavoidable risk associated with embellished garments.
• We cannot accept responsibility for inherent fabric weaknesses, hidden damage, colour migration, shrinkage, structural stress, or deterioration that becomes apparent during or after cleaning.
• Cleaning is not a restoration or re-manufacturing service. It does not reinstate the gown to brand-new condition, nor does it guarantee long-term preservation or future reusability.
• Any pre-existing damage must be declared prior to cleaning.

All gowns are cleaned at the client’s own risk. By proceeding with our cleaning service, you confirm that you understand and accept these terms.

We strongly recommend that gowns are cleaned as soon as possible after the wedding day to minimise permanent staining and fabric deterioration.
